New beginnings
Making changes in trying times
The Castle lodge Hotel has seen several changes in the past two years.
And most have been undertaken in very trying times. When we bought Castle Lodge, there was much to do. Bedrooms in need of refurbishment, public areas reflecting a long forgotten trend. Thankfully, much of the work has been done and we have even added an attractive patio garden which is patronised by both residents and visitors alike.
Other exciting projects remain, but that they say is part of the fun. As everyone knows we are experiencing very trying times. The hospitality trade is no exception. We are consistently under pressure to innovate and think of new ways to attract business. Value for money is vital. Diners are becoming increasingly savvy in how to flush out the best deals.
Our recent introduction of the HR9 card reflects this trend. At £5.95 for 2 courses this lunch offers local senior citizens great value for money. Castle Lodge always uses fresh ingredients and steadfastly avoids microwaved products.
Our website is presently being upgraded. Soon, it will reflect many other attractive special offers for the local community, such as free meals for kids and no venue charges for functions. So, watch this space.
Yours,
Steve and Georgina
