The George Dolby Suite is nspired by the residency of the late George Dolby, Charles Dickens’ former reader and close personal friend. Dickens visited Dolby (formerly Wilton Manor )on the weekend of the 24th Jan 1869 and presented his host’s daughter with a pony.
